Confusion saving and loading state

I found the solution in this thread:

Created a “copy” of AudioParameterFloat called FaustAudioParamterFloat (put it in FaustPluginProcessor.cpp) with one change. The setValue() function is public not private. Then in FaustPluginAudioParameterFloat, inherited from FaustAudioParameterFloat instead of AudioParameterFloat. The Faust controls don’t update the ValueTree - this caused the saved state to always have the default values. Syncing the controls fixed host saving and internal xml saving.
